
A fantastic landscape created by mountain ranges and sunlight. This is a photograph of Mount Tatamailau (Mount Lamellau), the highest peak in East Timor.
Mount Tatamailau is a 2,963-meter-high mountain located 70 km south of Dili, the capital of East Timor. During the Portuguese colonial rule of East Timor, it was the highest peak in Portugal. Mount Tatamailau is also known as "Sacred MountainThe temple is also worshipped as a "Shrine of the Holy Spirit". A statue of Mary is placed at the top, and pilgrimages are made by Christians.
