This is Toumadi Square. This square is located in the ancient city of Bhaktapur, which is registered as a World Heritage Site in Nepal.
The five-story Nyatapola Temple, 30 meters high, can be seen in the back and is the symbol of the plaza. On the staircase are, in order from the bottom, a warrior, an elephant, a lion, a griffin, and a goddess, said to be guarding the temple.
This plaza is also home to restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops, which attract many tourists.
