There are as many as 70 languages spoken in Burkina Faso, but the language used at the school is mainly that of France, the colonial-era suzerain state.
Around 2015, Burkina Faso began to have armed conflict, influenced by neighboring Mali; clashes escalated in 2023, and now the nationala quarterschools have been closed.
