This animal with distinctive horns is a species of coozoo that lives in Africa. The male has large horns, as shown in the photo, and its striped body hair serves as camouflage to protect it from foreign enemies.
Koozoo horns have been used in Africa as traditional ceremonial tools and musical instruments. Excessive poaching by poachers has reduced the population of the coozoo, even though it is found in large areas of Africa. The coozoo is also found in nature reserves, where it is the target of trophy hunting.
